GLOBAL HEALTH DOCUMENTARY AND LECTURE SERIES: TOMORROW, 2/8
Join us tomorrow at 7 pm in VKC 101 as we watch the documentary “Back Home Tomorrow,” which shares the story of two children affected by war in Sudan and Afghanistan, and the work done by a medical humanitarian aid organization called EMERGENCY to help them. The film screening will be followed by a Q/A session with Anna Gilmore of the Keck School of Medicine and EMERGENCY USA. There will also be some yummy refreshments.
Also, don’t forget about tomorrow’s lunchtime Global Health Lecture Series: Design Thinking and Health Care by Tim Brown, CEO and President of IDEO. The lecture will be held from 12-1 PM in TCC 450. More information here.
FAIR TRADE VALENTINES: 2/13 + 2/14
Next Monday and Tuesday, we will be selling Fair Trade Valentines by the finger fountain and at HSC. We have bags of chocolates for $5 as well as fair trade roses. We need help preparing the valentines! If you would like to help bag chocolates, please join us this Sunday (2/12) at 4 PM. We will meet in front of VKC 100 and then find a room to work in.
Also, if you would like to help sell valentines, please sign up on our google doc (click here). Write your name in a time slot you are available, and then in the appropriate space (see the document) write your email so we can send out information as the time nears.

Lastly, we will be hosting a speaker on Wednesday, March 22 at 7 PM in VKC 101. More information on this to follow.
