Hey everyone,
Thanks to those of you who came to our first general meeting last night! We had an awesome turnout, and are looking forward to getting to know you all better in the future.
For those of you who couldn’t make it, don’t worry! We’ll keep you up-to-date with our events as the semester progresses through email, our Facebook page, and our website. Please refer to the Calendar section the website for a full list of planned events for this semester. We are also in the process of planning additional events, so any ideas you may have are welcome.
We are also accepting applications to join committees at this time. There are four committees which you may join (and you can join more than one): Fundraising, Public Relations, Local Projects and Global Projects. You can find a brief description of the tasks each committee is responsible on the application page. If you are interested in joining one, please fill out the form and we will put you in contact with the committee head (see the Leadership page for a list of chairs). Please don’t see this form as an application–we are only interested in getting to know you. If you fill one out, chances are you will be placed in the committee you selected.
In the immediate future, we have 4 events for you to mark your calendars with. If you are interested in participating/attending these events, please RSVP on our Event RSVP page so we can get a head count for attendance/contact you (except for the Tim Brown lecture, which must be RSVP-ed for at the link provided).
